At some point, I will write an essay on how the ‘West’ weaponizes ‘rights’ to subjugate the world’s people and how they honestly believe that all of the resources of the world belong to them. But the following is honestly what I hear whenever I hear the common refrain from the United States regarding its 51st state.
For the 10 year olds reading this, I never drop the hard R unless I am using a direct quote to make a point about history. I never use that word in my own speech. I never have the desire to use it. Direct all of your anger/discomfort towards the British and to the pathetic excuse of a man known as David Lloyd George! Anyone taking an undergraduate level course on colonialism or American history will likely write an essay where they need to decide whether to use this word, but likely decide to use it because not doing so sugar-coats the reality of the situation. In this case, the reality of the situation is that Europeans (and the vast majority of Israelis are merely Europeans) have been subjected to over 1000 years of propaganda directed at making them hate muslims and arabs, and encouraging them to steal anything of value belonging to Muslims and Arabs.
To the neckbeards who are thinking, “Iraqis aren’t n*****s”, first no one is a n***** in the sense that David here means, but second, it doesn’t matter to him. Being non-“white” (and yes, I know how loaded and mealable that word is and that at various times, British+Americans didn’t consider Germans, Italians, Irish, Slavs, etc. to be “white” and yes I know that many arabs are very light skinned) is the key here.
In the past few months, Israel has bombed Gaza, the West Bank, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. And smooth-brained Americans think Iran wants a regional war. Israelis have put in exorbatent amounts of effort over the past 100 years into being considered “white” because Europeans believe they have rights that no one else has.
